I know I said I was stepping back for a bit
But
Please please please tell me LEGO
Has NOT got it right with the ugly as sin wide guard attachment slugs
As BR has suggested looks like a nod to Puma esk bonnet bulge and wing guards
But those guard flares can go jump in a Jeep creek and drown

There is a fair bit of the lego that looks nothing like the pilots.
Roof, flares, winch spot, snorkel missing, bullbar missing, Bonnet bulge too high, lights look too pronounced, i think they have just gone off the pilots and tweaked it and got LR permission to use brand..but hey could be wrong.
Look, bonnet and winch position in pilot shots, compare against lego.
Highly doubt flares will have exterior bolt on (torana style) as even current defender has smooth concealed mounting.
Having said that for sure there is something weird going on both under tusk wrap vent area and inconsistency of headlight covers in different pilots shots, some covers look riveted on, others factory mount, some ribbed lowers others not.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on behind vent with arrow in pic.

I wonder if they will do a white roof as a nod to the old ?

If you look at the splitter/bumper gaps on the front of the camo/Tusk model, they pretty much mirror those on the Lego model.
