    Old Robot

Is it just me or does the front of the new 'Defender' look like an old Robot's helmet?

Goodyear brand. But I'm pretty sure (borderline certain) they are hand-cut one-offs. As used on Concept cars and show specials. Look alright, don't they? Pity....

Interesting comparing these 3 and the front end differences.

Rugby version is fairly different from latest production/prototypes

    Bumper solid alloy.
    fog light area opening reduction.
    Centre grill air intake reduction.
    Alloy landrover grill section.
    With the champagne satin colour.

I think that shows promise that a steel bar could be fitted.

Look at number 2 in Pic, looks just like a chassis.
