As I said, nothing overly special to the average punter...don’t doubt it’s been well thought out, takeaway the air suspension and some smarts plenty of other vehicles have that lost.

Rangie comment was based on your user name, figured you might own a Range Rover...given you question pretty much every other 4WD out there and that the defender is the be all of 4WD yours must never leave the driveway.

I’d quite happily have a new defender to cruise around town in, weekends away to a bnb......than switch to my 110HT for overlanding...but don’t see the point in having two 4WD’s in the driveway.
Why be offensive that someone may or may not have a RR and if they do saying it stays in the driveway?

Your choice of car is fine and im happy for you, just respect others maybe.

And yes i do find the new defender very exciting and especially the one filling up in africa at the servo. Will be interesting to see what they are doing The New DefenderThe New Defender

Don’t think I mention height of suspension

Must have missed the pic where the car is covered in dirt.

Geez...one guy wearing boots means what

Hmm, where they are refueling has a population of 44,000 and appears along the ocean....I’m betting there would be a few shops around.

Goodyear custom cut these tyres. They won’t be listed.

I want to get back to the hilift bling

Of hundreds of recoveries I have used or been involved in a hilift a handful of times

Other than helping a fella with a MOG change a tyre and one other tyre change on a 79 that started with hilift (in rear Steve bar hilift proper point) but was too unstable so we got out a bottle jack???
It’s not a great tyre changing tool - too bloody dangerous!!!

Have used hilift for both lifting our of bogs and packing with logs and also as a come along....

But they just can’t be used on most vehicles - that front a-frame will get monstered lofting 2.4T
It will either bend back the a-frame into bonnet
I just can’t see it happening

And those puddly little orange points
You might get the hilift to start under those but once half way up the mast as it starts to bend the vehicle will slip off

There is NO safe or even minimally dangerous way to lift that vehicle with a hilift

    It is bling

Oh and that is a pretty stock prado with the “overlanding defender”
Does that mean a new modded defender is equal to factory prado??
