Yes the expedition rack is very noisy. Much quieter when it’s loaded though.
Most of the noise comes from cross winds through the Center part.
Need to get full length rack for Defender coming in a couple of weeks. I have heard the LR one is pretty noisy. Don't want noise! Wish Rhino had joined the bandwagon, but no. Now looking at Frontrunner but apparently the long rack does not work on Fender with factory rails but the short one does. You can take the factory rails off apparently. I wonder how easy that is.

After looking at that vid,i would be waiting for the Rhino track set up.
i have fitted their set up to the D4 and other vehicles and it was much simpler.
But then again,due to demand they may not have anything for the new Defender.
Rhino also have numerous different racks,legs for bars,etc, that suit their tracks.
