Thread: Defender S or SE? 110

First Point this question is only relevant if you are a P400 buyer. You can't buy a D300 Defender S 110 which I find a bit strange.

I played with the online configurator a lot to make a choice which was a Defender S its seems you pay a lot of money for little gain to have an "E" added to badge.

Below is a comparison between the S and SE in like for like spec. It is from an older version of the configurator. In this case the main differences are 19" vs 20" wheels. I may well add 20" wheels when I do my final build. And front fog lights... In 12 years I have hardly used the front fog (******) lights on my D4.

Some outstanding questions remain can I spec the Meridian Sound system in an S this version of the configurator says yes. The 11.4" screen is in this config however I believe its a non starter for the S.

Things may change closer to the date of my final spec but I honestly can see the value of an SE over the S in this case.

Build your LAND ROVER DEFENDER

I went with the P400SE for pretty much those reasons, however I came at it from the other way, comparing the X with the SE. Seems price and option wise, the SE strikes a good balance.
