So it draws 10Amps,for 10 minutes every time the door is opened.

You would have to wonder WTF the LR engineers were thinking.

No, not that much.

Reason hes having so many problems is that little CTEK isnt remotely providing enough power to deal with a low battery and keep the power up...

They've had the doors opening and closing working on the vehicle and just drawn it down too far.

Thanks,my bad,edited the post,still a lot of current to waste when out camping,etc,and a backwards step from the D4.

I'm sure LR will come through with a download that has a "system hibernation mode"...in the mean time it's a nuisance but manageable. Locking it and using the rear door as access when camping will reduce the current draw. Carrying a jump start pack is essential.
