Short answer, yes.
Time between wheel alignment depends a lot on use and driving habits.
I've looked after fleet vehicles that I could never keep in alignment, one driver was the problem.
My cars get an alignment with new tyres, and rarely in between.
Whether it was out of alignment from new, or something has happened to knock it out, you'll never know.
I believe Disco 4s are heavy on front left tyres in urban driving, i assume roundabouts, I wouldn't be surprised if new Defenders were similar.
Disco 4s need someone who knows what they are doing and the gear to put the vehicle in the right "mode" to get the alignment right, again I wouldn't be surprised if new Defenders were the same.
