    Thanks, lebanon, it's a great insight into the production of the Defender and how labour intensive it is. I wonder what will happen to all those people once production ceases at the end of this year?

    I also wonder if they were washing the finished product in the film or was that the infamous leak test.

    I don't think that they were washing the finished product and it wasn't also the leak test.

    This test is called "the quantitative fluid transition", this test measures the acceptable quantity of water that enters the defender when raining.

    Wow! It's still a very labour-intensive process, isn't it?

    I guess with this being the last year for the Defender, they wouldn't be spending too much on infrastructure.

    I wonder how long it takes to build one from go to whoa?
