The "shark's tooth" strip on mine is riveted on, not screwed. Not hard to remove, just a bit time consuming. Having got a second windscreen at a good price, it is now a very simple job to go from hard top truck cab to canvas. See if you can pick up the alternative screen from a parts vehicle and you'll have the best of both worlds...
