I have the twin underfloor tanks with the rear quarter PULP tank.
I am thinking I may have to replace the fuel pump in the quarter tank,,
anyone removed this tank?

They go in, they come out. Procedure varies with the tank but generally they are bolted from inside, under the carpet. Some bolts near the wheel arch, some at the back adjacent to the tail lamp inner panel (or behind the bumper corner). Check how it's connected to the filler neck, you may have to remove the large grommet that holds the neck in place. Then carefully lower the tank using a floor jack until you can access the pipes/wires and undo them. When you have undone everything pull it right out. Oh, and if you drain the fuel out first the tank will be lighter. Most metal tanks have drain plugs somewhere...
