    Sister Enthusiasts Club

I notice we have a 'sister' Land Rover Enthusiasts Club (LREC) across the ditch in Otago, New Zealand. Interestingly, they have very much the same aims and objectives as we have.

I wonder if any of the NZ members of AULRO are also members of LREC - NZ? If so, I'd be interested to hear from you.

I'm interested in establishing twin club relationships and the Otago one sounds good as does the one in Denver.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

This afternoon I had a visit from a fellow LRE-NSW member who has just returned from visiting family in Denver, CO, United States.

He made contact with the Solihull Society Land Rover Club of Denver and has been booked to give a presentation of his recent Madigan Line Trip when he returns for another family visit in a few months time.

Maybe we should also venture into establishing contacts with the South African Land Rover Enthusiasts and organise a trip there later this year or in 2013. There are numerous self drive tourist companies over there but it would be interesting to meet up with some of the 'locals' and explore some areas away from the tourist routes.
Ummmmmm .................... I can see some dinner discussions during the upcoming accommodated VicHigh trip including some South African possibilities.
