You're in the wrong state for a start.
Try moving south.
We've been open for business for several weeks now and it seems that the only people visiting are a couple of members of the steering committee.
What's happening, or more accurately what's not happening?

I found that out the other day on the Gold Coast with the usual LR suspects and I'd move up there in a flash if it weren't for the heat!
We are trying to open up a club to assist isolated LR owners get together with the benefits of a Club, like insurance on club trips and form regional groups supported by the whole membership and be responsive to the wants and needs of the members. So in a way we are moving South and West and North and a little bit East.

I know what you mean. I've not joined LROCV because they are another easterncentric car club. I already am a member of too many eastern Victoria car clubs. I might as well be a member of a UK car club. Hang on, I am.
I'm more active with the UK car club (via the internet) than the Victorian clubs I belong to. Except for the Mercedes car club. They have a lot of trips out west.
I am a member of the LROCV, don't get much time to do anything with them but do like the "Review", so that is a benefit.

To the best of my knowledge LRE only became visible a few days ago, I was able to get to it if it came up in a search - but it wasn't visible on the forums page.
Plus there is now ~110 forums on the Aulro site

Probably not as I still have to take Mum to the hospital to see Dad every day.
There is light at the end of the tunnel (not the train), as it looks like Dad will be discharged home by the end of the month. Its been a long 7 months rehabilitation and he's still not able to walk very far and not without a frame.
After that it's move the toys from the chook shed to the farm and after that it's spend most weekends on the farm.

Judging from the number of PM's I've received recently enquiring about LRE-NSW, members of AULRO are realising that there is a new Land Rover Owners Club on the block.
The thing that many AULRO members possibly don't realise is that LRE-NSW will be affiliated closely with AULRO but is also able to offer:
I realise that club membership is not for everyone and we don't intend 'poaching' members from anywhere, but if anyone is interested and wishes to know more then we are available to answer their questions, whether they be via PM, phone or email to info@lre-nsw.org.au
- Insurance cover during trips/activities,
 - HCRS (Historical Conditional Registration Scheme) to qualifying members throughout NSW
 - Involvement of country/remote members via a scheme of 'Chapter' clubs that can operate semi independantly while still enjoying the benefits as above.

I should also point out that LRE-NSW in no way replaces AULRO but simply enhances what is IMHO a really great, useful and informative forum for Land Rover enthusiasts.
