Hi,
I also have an interest in taking photos - recently mainly of old Land Rovers here an overseas. A few photos have made it into the `Spotted' column of Land Rover World in the past year, including the last issue, which is a bit of a hobby.
No particularly flash gear - just an Olympus C7070 7X digital, although this replaced a fairly sophisticated kit of Olympus-Zuiko ware from the dim dark days of 35mm film. Maybe one day I might upgrade it to the whole hog again, but am presently waiting for the professional digital SLR bodies to shrink back to some sensible size, weight and (whimsically) price. After using an OM4Ti for 20 odd years, the new E3's etc look, feel and pack like a brick.....
Cheers,

Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
G'day Members,
This thread has developed at a great time as George Edwards, LROC Vice President, has been working on a similar idea and has invited Ian Porter to speak at the next general meeting, Tuesday 24 February. Ian is a keen photographer and has agreed to give us a few tips on taking photos especially when travelling in convoy.
So come along to the meeting and hopefully pick up a few pointers and have a yarn with Ian, George and other members.
With all this interest perhaps we can plan a photography weekend at the meeting.
Glen Davoren
President
