Thread: Victorian Bushfire Relief

G’day Members,

I’m aware that a number of you have asked if the LROC can provide assistance to those affected by the recent bushfires in Victoria.

At this stage Four Wheel Drive NSW & ACT (http://www.4wdnsw-act.asn.au/ ) has appointed their Vice President, Roger Sheath, to coordinate Bushfire Relief efforts on behalf of all NSW 4WD Clubs. I have contacted Roger on behalf of the LROC and attach an extract of an email sent to all club Presidents in regard to this matter.

Further to the above information the committee of the CMC have endorsed an initiative (see CMC attachment) by member club, the AMCCA. The CMC believe this is a great idea to allow all of us to contribute and help those in urgent need. Please let fellow members know about the event and hopefully the AMCCA will be able to raise substantial funds.

I’ll keep you informed of all further developments.
