Guess I will have to wait until the next auction. Optus were playing with their tower in this area and so lost Internet connexion at a critical time.

Thanks again. All the research is done so...... next time

Hi Digger, I won one of those 2 No 5 trailers you and SBO have been discussing, lot 12. I have a fixed pintle on my s2a so will do the mod to the lunette ring. The trailer i got had a "red" do not use sticker on it due to the shackle bushes being worn, and tyres out of date?? Do you know where I can get new bushes from? I would also like to fit the 12 pin nato type socket to my 2a, any ideas as to where I might get one from? Also I would like to know where the chassis No. is stamped for rego. Any idea of the tare weight? The ARN is 176464 according to the grays paperwork. I didn't notice the "red" sticker till after the auction....my bad. Thanks for any help you may be able to give me.

    Cheers Rod

Ps. Sorry SBO if I outbid you. Hope you got the other one. Cheers. Rod

The bushes are (and were, they are the OEM), made by Mackay Rubber, with their part number of S19. Most proper auto parts places should be able to order them in for you. You need a total of 6 for a No5 trailer.

    Yes it was me 67Hardtop!

Optus did some repairs on our local tower and just turned their network in that area off! So at the critical moment .... no contact with the outside world!!!

Sounds as though it might have been more problems than I could handle at the moment! Anyone know when the next Adelaide auction will be on?

There is heaps of useful stuff available, just google it. Have a look at No5 trailer.. Rego'd
UncleHo has some useful things to say
