If you're only going to use it behind a Disco, cookie has a Treg hitch that replaces the lunette. I'm sure he'd swap it with you, then you wouldn't have the bump bump bump noise the pintle/lunette connections have.
Treg coupling will fit on a regular towbar and be cheaper than a pintle plus adapter.

BTW - there is an alko off road every-which-way hitch for a standard tow ball (heaps better/stronger than a treg).Quote:

There may be, however a lot of people already have a Treg and the replacement for the lunette that cookie has is for a Treg.
On my D4 I use one of Arthur Goddard's couplings that connect directly to the lunette, but it's not a cheap option even though I don't have to modify my ex-Army trailers.

Really want to keep it as close to an original setup as possible & with very little time left to get the vehicle end sorted, its the best way to go i think.
narrowed it to either the one on the link below or a 2-piece second hand one in a set position which will still look pretty good. I really dont like the look of the massive adapters with drilled out holes for a million different positions

Bidding ends on time if there is no bidding activity upto the close time. If there is bidding within 10 minutes of the close time i think it is, the auction keeps going until there is no bidding activity for 10 minutes straight so its like a live auction.
Final winning price whatever it may be you add 6% premium & then whatever that comes to, add 10% gst
