The first auctions will probably have some of the best stock, just to attract top dollar and set a precedent. For example the 6x6 ambo ... now how many of those were produced? (anyone know?) I would have guessed, less than 60? Anyhow, I would have thought that the blood boxes would be pristine compared with most of the other 6x6 variants.

For mine, I'm waiting to see what this release, irrespective of the slow quantity, does to the prices, say one year from now. Particularly to the second hand market, where I'm guessing that some of the auction vehicles will end up being sold off at a loss cos SWAMBO can't stand them. Can just picture some of the henpecked 'winners' when SWMBO alights from her first ride, with a 'WHAT HAVE YOU GOTTEN US INTO???"

    Cheers

Good point on the best stock at the start... highly possible. Also agree that some of the vehicles might be minimal, but I'm looking at a 110. I'm guessing a fair few of them? Although I'm unsure how many will be hardtops...

Some one has too much time on their hands and round the numbers down a bit for attrition.

Department Of Defence - Defence Disposal Agency

It says in there that the army is disposing of the vehicles between 2012-2020, so that might also indicate that not all of them have been contracted out for private sale yet?

Yep. They'll be disposing of them as they become available.
Have they got all their G wagens in service yet?
When do they get their Hawkeyes?

There will be a lot of interest in those eleven vehicles.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

^^ Agreed. I'm one of them... and I bet there's more than 11 of us interested! The 38 below it are also good though. The same but without a winch from what I understand. I'd be happy with one of those too. But still... that's not very many!

I think you will find the Senior Commander is a 5 door station wagon and the Personnel Carrier is a 3 door hardtop.

The difference between the Truck Panel and the Truck Carryall is that the carryall has windows in the rear sides where the panel doesn't.
