you should take my word for it and just dont buy any of that particular varient.

A quick search using the terms isuzu, 4bd1, shake, leak and rust should suffice, saves me typing out the whole list of problems.

No plans on buying one, more that it it had a rubbish engine etc - I'm assuming its a 4BD1 non turbo. I was under the impression until your post that all 6x6 had 4BD1T motors.

After 24 years in the Army and spending a lot of time in all LR variants I would be very wary if buying a 6x6 as they are very unreliable. I have not experienced any problems with the 110s but they will shake your fillings out if you sit at the traffic lights for too long. I generally rev it a bit to stop the rattles.

Can you comment further about what are the specific points of unreliability of the 6x6 variants?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
