Would also like to here as well.......
I have driven 10's a thousands of k's in 202 045 on and off over the last 15 years and can only remember two failures, snapped front axle (operator doing silly things) but drove 300km with CDL engaged and a seized intermediate diff (diff was not refilled during a service.....it drove 600k before seizing). In all the years I followed the grunts around in IIMV's they had the same minor issues as the 110's. I seem to remember being stuck on the side of the road tendering to unimogs. 202 045 was tweaked and had an upgraded exhaust for quite a awhile and was driven pretty hard nearly every time it was taken out and survived.
The biggest concern I have is the intermediate tyres ESP when they (GMV's)are loaded to 5 1/2 - 6 tonnes. I reckon these tyres only had a third if the life of the other axles.
Re idle on the 110 sure some of the were set a little low but most operator just set the hand throttle once and that as the end of it.
Passed a new army 6x6 Mercedes on the Hume today. I thought of this thread... Good to know they've started using them and making way to sell off the Land Rovers! Their loss is our gain!

I went past the holding yard (?) at Eagle Farm / Pinkenba yesterday for the first time in a few weeks. The place has been decimated - the only Landy I saw was one that was quite badly crumpled along the near side. Last time I went past there were dozens there. Surely they wouldn't be worth shipping to Sydney to sell off? Assuming that's what they were stored there for, of course.
grrrrr, have to wait til 4pm to see whats being sold
Trailers are starting at $9 and are un reg I'm told
