    No1 mk3 (?) 171-301 recovered

Preliminary posting, a friend of mine recently purchased this unit at a clearing sale, had reportedly been left in a shed for the last 15 years and its last machinery inspection was in 1994.

Collected it today with a tilt tray, cab is near perfect, and the roof hatch is still on. No idea what the plans are for it atm.

Something that I am puzzled by is that its got a reasonably shallow, flat bonnet on it, not the ridged fibreglass type that i expected.... photos to come.

    Chassis 4x4-1250

It would be a Mk4 cab.
A lot of the Mk3 Inters were rebuilt with a Mk4 cab. It's a good indication it may have seen service overseas.

Those photos show a very complete re cabbed Mk3, very lucky to find it so intact, only part non original appears to be drivers seat, excellent start for a restoration.

Well he wasnt wasting any time with it, had the engine freed up and turning over happily by saturday night, new clutch master cylinder in on sunday morning (says its a 3/4" bore same as fitted to an xr falcon) and got it running well enough for a shirt drive sunday afternoon..... no brakes though! Does anyone have a source for a workshop manual or at least a air line schematic as he says theres a few leaks and sticky valves.....
