My OO Scale Model Train set Build.

We’ll frustratingly waiting on parts now - foam, paper, etc and also a new power supply for the desktop so I can do some more work on the layout using Anyrail. Did get one part today - some LED light strip for the workbench as it is very dark in there.

Not any more. The 5 meter strip did 2 runs up and back - one under the bottom shelf and one under the main shelf up top. Very bright now. My OO Scale Model Train set Build.

Found this in a museum in Queenstown (Tas) yesterday. Never seen a Hornsby that big.

So while waiting for parts, have been putting some thought into the lift up section I need to build. Have cobbled together a proof of concept - works great. Will be more stable with 2 hinges as I won’t get the racking this unit has but it proves my theory. Will also incorporate a strut to assist lifting and keep it in place when it’s up without needed a latch of any description.

Hmmm, clearance is closer than I calculated, but it fits. My OO Scale Model Train set Build.. I can drop the feet up to 15mm so I might wind them down a bit so it clears the ceiling - it should almost go back and rest on the wall with the hinges I’ve used. IMG_1563.jpgIMG_1564.jpgIMG_1565.jpg

That’s it for the night - I’ve just donated blood and I’m feeling a little woozy after that - I should know better...

It appears that you are adding a 2nd & 3rd floor to your room. "Wanna see my 00 mate? Right, it is in the loft" .

Coal burning in SA in anything is done and dusted.

    Other States................... ?

Where that vid was shot there'd be no need for a CFA or RFS, not a blade of veg anywhere.

Yep, cup of tea, cheese and crackers, large chocolate chip cookie and a bit of cake. 👍

Was my 25th donation too so I got a little badge. 😊. I actually have almost twice that many but the old records from the 80’s were never rolled over when I started donating again around 10 years ago. But that’s not why we do it is it. 😊
