Unfortunately the only thing that is really growing with time is my waiste measurement. ...

But as for the engine upgrade, actually I'm looking forward to it, just confirmed buying a upgrade ECU from Germany which makes the most of the other changes. ...

Its a 2005 model with just 18k on the clock. I justified it to Gloria by explaining that at least this one can carry a pillion so now I can take her for a ride as well. ...

I have a very understanding and tolerant wife ...

    This is what happens Terry.
You drink too much, forget to call me back and end up with two motorbikes
    They both look wicked.

    The gruesome twosome finally together.

Maybe it's because I'm no longer a spring chicken but the more I ride these good old MT01's the more I enjoy them, Im rapt to have found a big bike that is just good old plain fashioned fun to ride and that you don't need to be doing at least a hundred mile per hour on to feel like your actually even moving like modern sports bikes do.

I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea but for me anyway they truly put a huge smile on my face every time I go for a ride..
