    This is hilarious!

Man a car with a PS2? that's simply revolutionary! Id buy it surely it'll be worth gazillions in a few yrs!

My advice is: go spend $500 on any other sigma, cos that's what the s*** boxes are worth these days, then get an inverter and second hand PS2 from eBay or the like (I doubt there'd be any of those available on the aulro markets due to their high quality and scarcity and then flog a set of mags from a wrecker for $50 and you got your own fully sic Sigma to crooze wif da bruddas to pic up da chicks in, and you'd still have $3500 to spend buy drinks for the chickie-babes! Or maybe you'd have to spend that $3500 renting a chick for the night if the fully sic sigma doesn't attract them as you'd hoped it would!

$4,500 if you really want it, go over the bodywork with a magnet in a handerchief,if it doesn't stick it is BOG walk away, you can get a GOOD VH/VK Crumbledore for about $1.5K and spend the balance on pimping it to your own taste

Hi, as Scarry says, they are notorious for drinking oil. I think they made the rings out of plastercine. They generally need a re ring before they get to 200kkm, and by then, the valve stem seals will need relplacing too, as they will be as hard as concrete. Having said all that, I have owned a couple in my time, and got a reasonable run out of them. Don't get the 2 litre, they are useless. Remember it is now an OLD car, and there aint too many left on the road. I wouldn't pay more than 8 or 9 hundred bucks for a good one, they just aren't worth anything now - doesn't matter how much the previous owner has spent. As they say, you can't polish a turd (unless you are a Mythbuster)

    No, no, no, no, no......

Whilst the VT Bombadores have had issues....I've owned two....they were pretty good in the big scheme of things. You could pick up a Berlina or Calais (Year 1999/2000 onwards...) for around the same coin....lots of bells and whistles standard.

There are very few Sigmas on the road today....and there used to be heaps....why? In fact I haven't seen one in years!

I used to own one of the last 2.6L Scorpions....It was a fantastic car in it's day....specially after a few mods. I believe they were far better knocked together than the Sigmas....but in the end it just wouldn't stop falling apart....gearboxes, suspension, engines, interior plastics.....and cancer like you wouldn't believe....even after multiple attacks by panel beaters...

    Go the VT!!!

Fantastic car! and cheap as anything these days!

My in laws just sold a VX (2002) series 2 Acclaim sedan with 17' mags, spoiler, LPG system and only 150km on it for $7000. What a STEAL!

You can easily get a good VT for that price, and its 15 years newer than the fully sic sigma!

Thanks guys for the help. I think I wont buy it since all everyone is saying its a piece of junk. I think I'll just keep the Jaguar for now . I might get a nice old Bogan VK Commodore. One thing I realised was that the buyer was superrr eager in selling it. He really wanted us to inspect and trade a.s.a.p...
