powder coat primer
Does anyone know of a suitable cold galv or zinc prime that u can use before getting ur trailer powder-coated. im about to cover up some welds and would like to spray them before hand but iv heard that only a few stay on after being heated. iv had a look in bunnings so far but none of the say anything about what temps they can handle or even if they can be powder coated over the top.
Any help would be good if not ill have to call a powder coating mob
cheers

all PC I have had done required the job to be sandblasted before hand. I would suspect that this will be the case for you. Just spray anything on to stop the rust. It will all be blasted off. Usually they apply a zinc undercoat and then powder coat after blasting.
