    old VDO tach wiring

Hi there I have an old VDO series 1 4000rpm tachometer in my series IIA Landrover that's never been used and cannot find wiring info anywhere for this particular one.
Has anybody got one of these or possibly info needed to wire this one up and set the dip switches on the back (5 dips).
ps have removed original filament bulb and replaced with a LED back light hence the green wire at top of rear view pic.

So after posting realized pics didn't show, fixed now.

Decided to investigate gauges circuit since original post so now have a wiring diagram of circuit.
Figured out wiring and some insight into setting dip switches, just a network of parallel resistors so i figure they determine no. of cylinders ie raises or lowers freq to voltage ratio, so with a bit of trial and error have come to the conclusion that the movement (drives the indicator needle) has been damaged .

Decided to revive old tach with a digital led display, a bit of googling later came up with this http://fly.srk.fer.hr/~wgottwe/e98a034.pdf
a nice simple circuit that i can fit in old tach shell and also add to my xr200l motorbike

Turns out a bit of a pointless post sorry but you never know the above link might help someone and if one needs a circuit diagram for a series 1 VDO 4000rpm tach then PM me I'll be happy to help.
