You should be able to remove the handle, then the outer dress ring followed by the cartridge retaining nut. Pull the cartridge out and replace it. They're about $10.00 at bunings. Look for a video to lead you through it on you tube.

Mine is not leaking, just tight. Hopefully I can put some Vaseline on it to free it

If you want to lube it only, you'll still have to pull it apart. Get a little tube of silicon grease for tap mechanisms from a plumbing shop.
