Solar water pumps.....
Going to site next week to fine tune the scope.....first time player my with solar water pumps.
Any tips or shortfalls to look out for?
- Pumping from one tank to another
- Tanks are 2km apart
- Water consumption I’m still confirming, washer using 10L per truck
- Daylight hours only
- Working on 6hrs of sunshine...when the sun is available. Will need to work out redundancy
- Generator input
- Will get total elevation next week
- Level Control, due to distance I’m thinking a float/valve at receiving tank although I’m sure there will be pressure delays.

You can get some nifty Point to Point Wireless I/O to start & stop pumps based on a level. See here for example: OleumTech(R) Adds Another Point-to-Point Wireless I/O Solution to Its WIO(R) System Portfolio
I use this kind of equipment on pipelines between pump stations & storages or surge tanks for example. Elpro also have an offer.
