So my assumption is we have a major injector leak
But
How can that much fuel get to the exhaust such that it fills the can and find a pin hole at the seam and leaks out
Must be huge volume passing through the system ???
I can’t for the life of me think any other way diesel is flooding the exhaust except via an injector
Oh - fuel rail pressure when running is in normal limits
But when cranking is a little low 8Mpa cranking
One YouTube video found that a leaking pressure relief valve can cause failure to start and was due to failed fuel rail pressure relief
But this is different as it has a metric **** tonne of diesel going through the engine???
Any ideas on next steps ?
Do I disconnect one injector at a time and block off its high pressure supply and run it briefly to find the culprit?
Thoughts?
I have a video of the palaver if someone wants it
