I just replaced mine ( late) with a new one from the UK. Cost around A$335 including fedex ship depending on exchange rate, took 6 days to get here. Is yours early or late type? inlet / outlet on same or opposite sides. Let me know and I will point you to the source.

Have you got any more info on that ? (ie where/who from etc) I'd be keen to do the same deal for a new radiator.

I would have gone Aussie Desert, too, had I the foresight to send them an old radiator to copy whilst I was getting my engine rebuilt.

If you lived nearby, I could lend you a radiator whilst you get yours copied.

Here is the Early one for sale NOW.
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-RAN...item5d28190dfd

Cost at todays exchange will be around A$365 all up delivered. The guy has put his shipping up from 75 to 100 pounds since I got mine. I tried very hard to get him to deduct the VAT (GST) but he would not, you could try again its worth 17.5% and he should not charge it. Even with the VAT its a great price for a new rad. Email the guy before you commit to see if the postage and VAT can be altered

I had a slight leak in my top radiator cover at the over flow fitting back to the expansion tank.
Being inquisitive i popped the top plastic tank off.
Well blow me down it was near on clean 2 tubes had some drilling swarf in them one would have been blocked 80% the other 30%. A small amount of sediment was around the seal other than that she was clean as a whistle.
This is a 15 year old radiator.
The problem with the top tank was that i think i leaned on the fitting and it must have very slightly cracked it didnt leak as such just formed a bubble about 1-2mm in diameter.
I bought a new radiator thinking it would be old and knackered as it turned out it is not.
Is it possible to get new/second hand top tanks???
