just read your last post... been driving around town with swmbo doing xmas shopping most of the day, would have loved to havbe gotten out of that and helped you pick up the new one. looks real neat, happy driving back to the sunshine state!
It should be an enjoyable drive!
The nav is factory (surprisingly) but the Digital TV/DVD player in the roof is an aftermarket jobbie! I don't need the 7 seats, but for the price, it caters for my future needs :-p
I have only just met a girl I really like, and am yet to have tiny tot's of my own!
Cheerio

If you are coming through Canberra, give me a call. It would be great to meet you and see your new toy.
Cheers, paul.

Sorry to dig this one out of the archives, here's the video of the creek that killed my green p38! I'm seen driving through it northbound, but there was no video of me going the other way, and ultimately drowning the big girl! It was not even 10mins after this vid was taken that she drowned...

There is now way I would have attempted that, the depth was one thing but the speed it was flowing at would have put me right off. You can see both cars wiggle under the force. Impressed you got one way.
On another note, anyone thought of putting the gearbox and EAS ECU`s in a waterproof box. Having removed mine a couple of days ago it looks a simple task.
Yeah, looking back I regret going through it in the first place! The only reason we went back the other way was because the next crossing was worse than that and it was getting on in the day (on a Sunday arvo), but in hindsight I could have stayed between the two creeks for the night as I work a 7 day fortnight and I still had three days left...
I was watching a 4wd dvd the other day on electrics and from what I understand it can be waterproofed quite simply! Maybe I should make a call and see how it's done! It is quite simple to remove the ECU's, it would just be a matter of sending them away to be done!

I was thinking of something far more simple like a Tupperware box and some silicone to seal the cables going in
