    have just fitted a ls1 into my classic rr ute comp car with a modded 4hp22 zf the bellhousing u can get from dellow in sydney torque converter tct springvale lots of mucking around but heaps of power and it is worth it when u take it for that first drive.

    Overfinch in the UK have done a few P38s with Chev V8s, 5.7L and 6.3L, they use GM Auto boxes on both i believe, custom adapter to RR transfer, not sure on axles/CVs though.

    I haven't seen anything on how they handle the computer/Becm, i dont know if it is possible, but fooling the Becm by relaying the signal is an idea, remove the connections and just relay the correct signals to the Becm, then as far as it knows nothing has changed. Engine would be controlled with a piggyback/megasquirt etc.
