    Roof Racks

Does anyone make a full length roof rack for a P38, also a rear bar with brackets for a spare wheel.

*moved from GC to the P38 section.

There's nothing RR specific available locally as far as I know but some have adapted the next model RR rack to fit. It's a bit longer but looks OK as can be seen here:
A sandy sunday for my P38

There was some talk of Safety Devices remaking the P38 rack at one stage but i don't know the latest on that.

Do want any more close up pics of the legs, etc? The legs are, in my view, a little short and it's hard to get one's hands in under the rack to fit the clamping nuts and also to wash the roof.

Thank for those pics of the legs. Made me realise an old sytle gutter mount rack will fit with a simple mod. I have Just cut 5mm off the length of lower fixing lip of an old roof bar and it fits spot on into the rack locating points
