    Over priced for a conversion. "Overfinch Replica" pfft.

    "The engine is alot more reliable than the 15 yr old stock 4.6 V8s, and has alot more power." Of course one must assume that the new engine was newer than 15 years, etc.

    How did he go about completing this?
    I thought their were massive issues with "Tricking" the BECM when running an alternative Engine.....?

    $12.5 k for a car that would normally go for just under $10k, with an LT1 conversion, i don't think its overpriced. And yes a lot more reliable engine, of around the same vintage. never really here of many problems with this engines

    LS1 conversion

    I am very interested in this conversion... any more info on the car? did someone here do that kinda job? what would be involved as far as transmission and adapters is concerned? would the RR transmission be able to handle that kinda power boost? hmmmmm
    I might just do this

    That engine looks to be fitting in very nicely. Its sitting very low.
    A Chev is at least 100kg heavier than a Rover engine.
    A reco Trans would be ok as long as you dont go too bananas on the loud pedal.
