    If they have moved off-centre, they must have broken the soldered joints. I had this happen to one of mine so I opened up the fob and resoldered it.

    If the ERA doesnt work, it is possible that the drivers door microswitches in the locking mechanism have failed. These eventually wear out from door slamming and key locking. Often it is not noticed until a synch is reqd or immobilised state occurs.
