    Altona Beach today

    Parked next to a very clean black P38 with b&w plates, 2000MY lights and wheels, went for a walj with the dog and came across a very nice dark green P38 with a nice set of wheels and a bullbar. So good to see well cherished P38s (thank God mine was clean)

    It is good to see well looked after ones. Might pay to see if the owner is willing to sell it??

    though mine has a few chips in the paid, and being an early p38, it still looks good when washed and polished. It is also a real eye opener to those not familiar with them off-road.

    I'm trying to stay focussed on my P38 and resist buying any more. I halved my fleet of old Mercedes before christmas having sold my beloved '65 Fintail and my '78 350SLC: my wife was extremely happy now that she can see the drive!
