good news/bad news
good news is the faultmate will probably give you a clue as to what's wrong...bad news is that Faultmates are sold with a licence specific to a particular V.I.N. unless you pay multi$$$ for an unlocked version (which are intended for professional =for money use and are therefore significantly more expensive). So you would have to be lucky to find someone with an unlocked version...there are some no doubt!
The fuel filter is in the tank attached to the fuel pump structure. there is no secondary fuel filter to the best of my knowledge on the later Australian spec vehicles.
Have you checked to ensure the H/T leads are properly secured on the plugs and esp. in the coil block?
