Which one is the ABS Relay???

Guess who mixed the relays up without marking where they came from
    Well, yes it was, hey?
Now I have a bunch of extra relays and I have no idea which number is the ABS Relay.
Can anyone have a look at RL2 and tell me the number please?

    Thanks Guys,
    Shirley...

Can anyone take a peek at their fuse box and let me know the number on the RL2 relay (ABS) P38.
    Cheers,
    Shirl.

    Hi Ron,
Looks like the relay I have is nothing like the one in the RL2 position.
Might just need to order a new one.
    many thanks Luv,
    Shirley.

That pic was taken some years ago. I just looked and I now have a standard yellow relay in RL2 position. This pic was taken today:

I don't know what model P38A you own and whether the fusebox is the same so I've included the relay layout:

The close-up is the other ABS relay:

    Hi Ron,
Mine is a 96 model which would be the same as yours.
The relay in the RL2 position should have a number wriiten on the side of it.
    Cheers,
    Shirley.

Just use one of the yellow relays - they have 4 pins. It's just a standard normally-open relay (see on mine how, at some time, the other black and yellow relays have been swapped between RL2 ABS and RL10 Aircon. If your car hasn't had the compressor link harness kit fitted, it may not have a relay in the RL10 position).

Do you want me to go and pull a relay to get the part no.

The Siemens part no. on the side is V23136-B4-X7 and the LR part no. also on the side is AMR2548

I've just checked MicroCat and it listed AMR2548 for RL2 ABS. However, it shows the LR number has superseded to YWB10012L

    Hi Ron,
Like on the all of the relays, there is a number printed on the case. That is the only number I need to ID the ones I have..
    Cheers,
    Shirley...

Shirley, if you are referring to the nos. like R6F3 that is ink-printed on all the AMR2548 relays, that no. is probably unimportant. The larger yellow relays are all the same, the green are all the same. Just plug any yellow AMR2548 relay in. I've had them in and out several times and never worried about putting them back in the same place - except for those ones which are special.
