Hey Rob,
Where did you get such a good deal on the Bilstein's?
Thanks Steve
Thoughts,
I'm just about to by a set of "18" General grabbers AT2" @ $260 ea.
They will suit my usage, I think. I know 16"s are probably better, but how much better, I I'm not doing extreme off roading and basically touring with a trailer, is it going to be that bad. Has anybody heard any bad reports?
Also FYI I just bought a set of Bilsteins same part no.s as offered by Heasemans Aus for $ 470.00 delivered from the States, and yes I'm grinning. Go the Aussie dollar!!

Steve,
I bought them of Fleebay USA and the seller was " Swaps 1938 ". He is a dealer and sells other Bilstein gear, and yes they are brand new, and on my truck now.
Look him up and see what gives.
Good luck,
Rob

From what I've learnt both the GG AT & AT2 are great tyres. Will be getting them for my L322 when the time comes. But you will get a more comfortable ride with 16" rims instead of the 18". Due to the extra side wall on the 16" tyres. 16's also less likely to pinch sidewall or have kerbing damage. If comfort is not a concern then go the 18's
Gary
Gary,
I think worth a punt on the AT's. I'm going to go for 255/60/18's not 255/55/18's, as is standard on the P38.
Rob
Hi Rob.
I will be using 255/60-18 on my L322 OR might wait for the 265/60-18. Due 3rd Q of the year I think. Will wait and see

Yeh Gary,
Luv this site, have it bookmarked at work, played with it for eeerrr minutes, keeps throwing up this 3 percent warning though, might be a potential camera problem as well!!
