Carton For a look Brisbane south side :)

    Hey there people I have a 2000 model 4.6hse
all was fine untill couple of weeks ago when car developped a lean to right
I Realise it could be leaking bags or a Height sensor ....
I just am not there to fix it (its the wifes car and I am work away)
If there is anyone with a good mech knowledge of this car who could come have a look I would appreciate it in the form of beer
If you have a nanocom evolution I would like you even more ... beer !
As want it switched to lazy lock and touch button windows in front ...
Also would possibly tell me of any other faults. ( I am going to buy a nanocom but need to know whether to buy bags first )
    car is in capapalaba
    My number is 0400433990
    Phil

If the RR is leveling out on its own you have an air bag leak.
If its staying down its most likely a height sensor/calibration.
    Hawkeye/Nano is a good idea.
It doesnt sound like it had gone into "EAS FAULT" with this message on the dash yet, If it has its going to stay on the bump stops.
To save it going into fault before you get home get the Mrs to put the manual over ride switch on and keep the RR at highway setting evry time she drives it. Some times you can try the different height settings to see which one is leaking the least, usually it will be Wade or Highway height.

Your compressor is working OT if its a leak.

WRT the EAS, download the EASunlock software free from rswsolutions, get a cable from Paul at Hardrange in Canberra and you can measure/calibrate/read and clear EAS faults...

As im aware of the probs it could cause ...... but really wanted some one to have a look and find the leak so I know its the air bags not just an air line or crud causing it to leak so ican order the parts to be there for me to sort when i get back ..... any offers ....

Only just saw this. Did you go Glen ?

I have the EAS unlock software and cable, and we also have my manual controller that could be put to use.

Ok so plugged the nanocom in and hve to say Im impressed at what it does...
told me cylinder missfires in the 100 per cylinder (i have none)
All the faults (I had none on engine but the climate control is full of them .... never gets hot )
Also set up Lazy locking (windows full closure when button held )
1 touch front windows (didnt do rears s have a 2 year old ...)

Millions of functions ... really impressed
