    Hard Range EAS Kit

    Hi HardRange ( Paul & Andy,)

    I have looked on your website last week, and no EAS emergency bypass kit. So after scouring the web, Have order through THISisAustralia which stocks your kit...no problems.

    Unfortunately it has still not arrived and was advised that it should be posted soon.
    Reason for the post is we are going bush on the weekend and would really like to have it by end of day friday, hopefully we never have to use it!

    I know this is a round way of contacting you guys, but your web has no number, and I understand you guys have day jobs too. So apologies

    Any help is most appreciated

    Anyway, unfortunately Ive still not received the product from whom ThisisAustralia........I have sent an email today asking for a refund.......no answer.
    No communication from anyone actually.

    Its great to support Aussie companies, but seriously, some are lacking customer support in a huge way.

    Cancelled our bush trip unfortunately and will now buy OS and be able to track accordingly.

    To order a week ago, and be told stock is in hand, and express post that day.....and still not receive it?,,......well, some need to look at their way of business dealing. Have had 4 emails stating that the product has been sent.

    Sad that we are going down this path.......will advise if the said company honours the refund.

    Fair enough Steve. I know where you are coming from and I also have a low tolerance for poor customer service.

    We have been unable to ship any EAS Bypass Kits for over a month due to unavailability of key components from a supplier. I do not list anything for sale on our eBay site unless I know it is in stock and I can send it off myself.

    That was the reason you did not see them listed on our eBay site (it is also the primary reason that I no longer sell the Hard Range Roo Bar, as I had no direct visibility or control over when our fabricator shipped them).

    In Willem's defense, he was not aware that we had run out fittings and would have assumed that we could deliver in the timely manner as we have always done in the past.

    Although I have been unable to get hold of Andy today, I understand that he did get the fittings on the weekend was shipping the kit to you yesterday.

    I didn't contact you today as I could not confirm if the kit had been shipped, and quite honestly I was tied up in meetings until mid-evening. When I saw the note from Willem around 2:30pm saying that you wanted to pull the order, I figured you would either get the refund or the kit would arrive, or both.

    G'day Everyone. It's probably time I cleared the air a bit. Actually the way it has worked out went OK, after a bit of a delay, with the main problem being slow communication. After speaking with Paul on Thursday and not being able to reach Andy on Thursday or early Friday morning, I sent Andy an SMS. Having not received an answer I thought it was only fair to Steve to refund his money, which I did, in full. I then went to send Steve an email explaining what I had done and apologising for the muck-up. As I was writing the email - halfway through it! - I received an SMS from Andy saying that he had sent it on Wednesday. I mentioned this in the email I sent to Steve.

    Steve was good enough to let me know that he did receive the kit on Friday, and has again paid for it.

    So the upshot of it all is that Steve has received his EAS kit, though a bit later than he should have. The only real problem was some slow communication.

    I have apologised to Steve for the muck up and he has accepted that apology. Which, as far as I am concerned, closes the matter.

    Until the supply issues are resolved I have removed the EAS kit and other Hard Range stuff from my website - though I should like to reinstate them in the long term.

    eas kit

    Glad to hear it's all sorted, it's one bit of gear that I wouldn't go bush without.
    Hate the thought of driving a rough track on the bomp stops running 265/75's.
    Just about too much for my truck, at least with 3 bags pumped up it would be driveable.

    Yep, all sorted. Willem was very quick in his response and refund. Within a few hours of his refund, the kit arrived. So, a phone call to Willem and kit was paid.

    Thanks to HardRange for following it through.

    Now to try to organise our trip again. Extremely hard with mates, wives kids, shiftwork etc etc etc....to try and get timing so that all are happy.
