Done the repair on the fusebox. The blower fans have never been better.
Now the killer, the car wont start. I have had the fusebox in and out 3 times to see if I messed up cant find anything. Car cranks but no fire. Good job its a long weekend

If you have a Thor engine which cranks but doesn't start it may be that the EMS code in the BECM has been corrupted. If you have a Faultmate look at the EMS info and there's a 3 digit security code. Now check the security code in the BECM module...they should be the same. If not, overwrite the BECM code with the EMS code and save it. Disconnect the Faultmate and the engine should start...

Damn! that's a prime telltale symptom

Wondering if there's anyone in the Perth region with an unlocked Faultmate who can assist you...

I don't know enough about the capability of the Nanocom - other than I thought it was not necessarily locked to a specific VIN. Can it read the P38 EMS ECU and write to the BECM?

Nanocom will allow you to resynch code from Engine ECU to BeCM. I did it for someone over here a while back.

With Pauls loan fusebox She fired up 1st pull so my efforts at a repair were not effective. All good now though after a few stressful days. Enjoying the better than ever aircon, it forecast 40c over the weekend so just in time
