    New to P38

    Hey all I have just purchased a 96 p38 I have a couple of questions the A/C clutch is just sitting there loose from the pics I have seen there is supposed to be a nut n washer but not anymore can I just drill n tap for a bolt to hold it on?? Also has anyone had an issue with a leaking brake line just under the driver footwell??

    Maybe you can show us a pic, are you sure you are not looking at the power steering pump? As it is as you have described. In which case the answer is here. However, now that I think about, THOR psteer pump has a single hole/shaft and the 1996 pulley has three bolts.

    Hey there I have checked your pics and its def not the p/steer pump it is the A/C pump I will post up a pic tomorrow also where would be the best place to get the OEM clarion head unit from?? Would anyone be wrecking one and have a good unit maybe??

    For the Clarion head unit, try Bundalene or "Andrew e" on this forum. They might have a working one.
    Failing that, eBay UK.

    I have a clarion head and it works fine same as rover but out of a peugeot so has peugeot on it plugs you will have to sort out but it should be OK its yours free gratis just organise transport peteotay@gmail.com Peter.
