I think this is a stupid amount to pay for something that probably cost 20 cents to make.
The alternative that I have found is a 67L100, the difference being that the cut off temp is the 100C instead of 120C of the original. I think this should work but would like to put it to the collective P38 brains trust

That particular device seems to be no longer available from a number of usual suppliers although alibaba.com has it listed for $1 in lots of 5,000
so you are on the money, 20c is probably close to the manufacturing cost...
It may be worthwhile looking for an equivalent part number made by Philips for example ...
