    Question 4.6 P38 ehaust headers/manifold ???

    I think I need to replace the drivers side manifold on my 1998 4.6 P38. I don't seem to be able to find any headers ? Do you know of any headers that will replace the standard manifolds?
    All help appreciated

    Hedman (spelling) do one I'm told. I'd just get a replacement from a breaker. The OEM manifold isn't that bad and the hassle and expense isn't worth the trouble. That's the general consensus.

    apparently ive got hurricane headers on my 4.0.
    might be a starting point to look

    Thanks for the info.
    There seems to be a shortage of Right Hand manifolds, does anyone know why ?
    Is the Right Hand manifold more prone to problems ?

    Can they not be repaired using a TIG welder? (just asking!) Is it the cast iron or the flexi joint itself has cracked?
