Hi all,
have to replace my windscreen soon and as I have never been down that path before was looking for any advice on doing it myself or go with a pro. If pro any leads in sydney.

It's a bonded windscreen & unless you have done one before, I'd go pro.
For the sake of $100-200 labour, it's not worth the risk of either breaking the screen or having it leak, or worse, come loose.
Prestige Autoglass did mine a couple of years ago:
Prestige Autoglass in Silverdale, NSW - White Pages?
He's mobile but I'm not sure of his exact area coverage. Mine was done in Parramatta.
He can supply & fit or fit only.

I had one done 18mnts ago, $350 supply and fit. Top tint screen. The guys had it out in 10 mins and all done in about 30. Looks easy but no way would I do it if the Pro`s are so fairly priced.
