A transfer case/handbrake drum, exhaust pipe guard would be great, a few times I've been worried about ripping the exhaust cross over pipe, or damaging the transfer case.

Thanks Gary!
I deliberately left the lift out to see how long it would take for people to want to add it to the list. It's unfortunate, but I am quite certain there are some legal implications around testing and engineering cert. that need to be met (mainly for satisfying TAC and private insurance purposes) with road going P38's adopting these suspension lifts.
At this point in time, when it eventually does come back to life it will ONLY be sold for Off Road and Competition use. Unless we can gain the appropriate cert's with minimal cost.
Of course, we couldn't be held responsible for where people drive their vehicles after we sell them the upgrades for off road and comp use...
Could we?
YES. BCC have only just started working out a deal on HRA with the PO's.
This thread is really about scoping. The brains trust here at AULRO is always a good source of info and sounding board. Without sounding smarte have a pretty good idea about what we want to do... but it all takes time... and unfortunately that ugly thing called money. We want to have something visible happening within a couple of months, however that is just punting at this very early stage.
The positives are that the HRA PO's (Paul and Andrew) proved it could be done. And different people in the US (like Rock Rover) and the UK (there are quite a few) have really good P38 product ranges selling within their (admittedly larger) markets...
We will do our best anyway... small steps for now.
Dave, help yourself to my cad files if you want to look into a dual swing away rear bar, front recovery points and bash plate. The latter two has allowed the standard front bumper / brush bars to be trimmed back and look pretty decent.
