I used Vaseline on my plastic grill, what an amazing difference. I would highly recommend it if you want to bring back to original colour richness.
Re apply 2-3 times massage in with toothbrush fingers.

I used peanut butter to spruce mine up before the last Expo around 8/9months ago. It still looks like new, smells nice too.

You might want to try baby oil (or similar) next time much easier to apply. I've used it on the hulls of boats before to enhance the appearance for selling. Just don't put it on the deck of a boat otherwise it becomes very slippery. Also really good on any rubber seals etc if you want to make them nice and shiny. Just use a cloth to wipe on and wipe off.
