I know that impatient feeling Steve . A couple of minor issues (snapped front drive shaft twice and a broken fuel pump) and the car is deemed "unreliable". Funny part about it though my p38 has towed the "more reliable" cars owned by the kids more times than I care to remember. I think it's more to do with me doing the servicing at home instead of paying for a local mechanical workshop to do the servicing.

Previous owner included an EAS Kicker, so far I haven't needed it (touch wood).
I ended up putting in new radiator, water pump, fan hub and hoses - summer coming on up here in Qld, more so for peace of mind than actual necessity. Still works out as a pretty well priced limo!

Bought all the bits from Roverlord (Thanks Mario ) so mostly aftermarket.
Marios' price for the lot was less than the Stealers wanted for the radiator alone

Allowing for the belts and hoses that came with the car,(Changed them over, even though the existing ones looked ok, I always change any of them that get disturbed, and the old ones go in the "get-ya-home" box), total cost was around a grand.

Did all the work myself, with help from this site, and a few youtube vids. There's nothing too hard about it, just wanted to make sure the cooling system was properly bled, and the torque settings were right (I get a bit cagey around threads cut into alloy parts).

All seems to be going well - we've had a few warm days here already, and the gauge doesn't move at all , (touch wood).
