    G`day ,

no , i don`t the best the i can give you is the piston top to deck is 0.020". Should add this is 4.0 , 8.23 - 1 stamp

Rod length , center to center( crank to pin )

Pin height , pin center to piston top

deck height , piston top to deck

    Thanks Peter,,
I am trying to organise Stack heights and block heights between the 4 and 4.6.
The pistons crown CC's are different and the rod lengths are also different. I'm not sure about pin height yet,,

box 2 gives some info about rod length,,

    G`day ,

i did leave out ( not on purpose ) that you will also also need to add the figure for half the stroke to the total .

I think you`ll find the quench height will give the most difference . This takes into account everything above the top of the top ring to the chamber top .

Had a look at the link , close but not same as factory manual figs more middle ground . Factory also give both met imp .

    G`day Pedro ,

    thinking about this today .

The only figure using found could be an approximate one , unless it was actually measured and then it would only be accurate for that measured .

For both 4.0 and 4.6 the figs for half the stroke , rod length c to c , half dia of gudgeon would be easy enough to find ( haven`t done but think it will give the same outcome for both ) .

A measurement from the top of the gudgeon to the piston top would be pretty easy if one had a piston .

    The 020 i mention is measured .

I notice Bundalene has a set of 4.0 pistons he is selling on Ebay .

Also Garry Cole ( gone but not forgotten ) has some 4.6 pistons .

Maybe they could help you with the fig for the pin top to piston top needed if you are able to contact them .

To my knowledge the piston concave is the ratio change other than that the pistons are same .

Same rings for either/any 4.0/4.6 piston
