I like it, was a bit gutless as standard.
I replaced the intercooler and chip and a significant improvement.
Not far off the v8 now! Jeremy Fearn supplied the kit Jeremy J Fearn Intercoolers, motor engineers and 4X4 specialists

I actually bought the vehicle from the UK when I was working in Europe.
That was in 1999. Since then its travelled with me to Asia and Aust. I shipped it several times. I finally made it back to aust in 2007 so imported it using the Personal Import Scheme.

    Hope that helps.

    Range Rover Hse P38a 8cyl

    Hi Ron,

Just viewed your photo's they are superb! I picked up a Rangy P38A HSE 8 cyl - at the auction the other day - have no idea about these, but my husband has always wanted one! I am missing part of the motor? Have included photos - hope you can help and let me know what part it is - A guy at the auction told me it was a sensor?

Also do you know how I can get hold of another key? I have read up on resetting the keys etc. My rangy looks exactly the same as yours - don't know what the differences are?

As far as I know it has come from Cocos Island ex Government and it has only done 11000 kms

Seems like a great site to be a part of - especially as I am so illiterate about cars!

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Cheers

    Kris

Chris, that's missing an important part of the fuel injection system, the MAF sensor.

    It's not cheap, either.

11,000km! Wow! It should be a good one. Come over and have a look at Range Rovers - we have a P38A section and I'm one of the Administrators there (I'm the one who will approve and activate your registration).
